JK Rowling texts Dan Radcliffe with promise of no more Harry Potter books
In a new interview with MTV, lead Potter star Dan Radcliffe talks about a text message he received from author JK Rowling the other day. Jo had told Dan he had done such a great job in Deathly Hallows that she’ll do him a favor of not writing more Harry Potter books. After revealing that bit of info, Dan quickly clarified he’s sure she’ll continue to write — just not about Harry.
It’s when that song you used to replay over and over again suddenly becomes a song that you can no longer stand listening to. When your inbox used to be filled with messages from that one person and you don’t even bother keeping in touch with them anymore since you’re much better off without each other. Your favorite shirt becomes so last year that you start to wonder why you liked it so much anyway. When the social networking site you used to log onto everyday is replaced by something better like Facebook. When you look at old photographs thinking of the reason you were friends with those people in the first place because they didn’t care about you as much as you thought they did.
We never take the time to realize that things are changing until it actually happens and until it’s too late to turn back to appreciate what we already had. Is it because it happened too fast for us to notice the change? Or too slow to even care that things were changing at all? It always seems to pass us by even when we’re waiting for it. So don’t think that things are going to stay the same forever, shit happens when you least expect it.
She might be without country, without nation, but inside her there was still a being that could exist and be free, that could simply say i am without adding a this, or a that, without saying I am Indian, Guyanese, English, or anything else in the world
what about the person that has to find your body, surrounded by blood? what about the terror and pain that they’ll have to remember for the rest of their lives? what about them having to feel guilty for being “too late” every day of their lives? what about them holding your body and screaming in agony as they can’t even get the strength to leave you to get a phone to call for help? what about the depression that you’ll leave them in? what about them having to walk away, their clothes soaked in your blood and their tears? what about them yelling at your paralytic body “please live! i love you! i need you! please.”? what about all the tears you’ll cause people that you aren’t even aware of?
what the fuck about them?
life is so fragile, and we fight for it every day —even against our own hands. when you kill yourself, you’re also becoming a muderer. you’re killing pieces of the people who love you. you’re tearing holes into their hearts that can’t even seal with time.
“Though Harry’s adventures may be over, you’ll get to learn more about his parents, James and Lily, in this new series coming from authoress JK Rowling. While the details are still foggy, it appears it will detail the adventures of Harry’s parents, as well as Severus Snape, and other members of the Potter gang. Said Rowling, of the new series:
“I expect to finish the first book around 2014, I have no plans for a movie immediately, but if it’s what the fans will want, I’ll be sure to oblige their wishes.”
Rowling had planned on an extended break from writing, but it appears she simply could not wait to get back to the keyboard.”
Are you as excited for this as I am? Reblog with your thoughts!
